November is proving to be a busy month – two book fairs just six days away from each other!
On Sunday 17th November, I will be in Henley in Arden – the heart of Warwickshire – at their book fair for independent writers. Henley in Arden seems to be a very vibrant arts-orientated place: it has just hosted a highly successful music festival and already holds an arts festival. The Book fair, a new event this year, is going to be central to an annual Literature Festival so it is certainly somewhere sympathetic to artistic endeavours. And considering its proximity to Stratford-upon-Avon, that’s highly appropriate!
The following Saturday 23rd.November, the Brighton and Hove Book Fair takes place and I will be there meeting both readers and writers. Brighton is well known for its writer co-operatives and I am grateful for the chance to be at this very popular event.
So if any of you live near Brighton and Hove or within reach of Henley in Arden, do please come along to the book fairs and meet writers of every genre – fiction, non-fiction, children’s and young adult literature – all will be well represented!
