Thank you for this insightful entry. I have always loved writing and receiving letters. I have been included the letters my first/second chance love sent me in 1987 in my memoir and I have kept them all. They reside in a keepsake box with my parents ‘ love letters. Writing letters was a way of practising my handwriting too, something else that has fallen by the wayside. I’m n response to your question, I have seen Basildon Bond writing pads recently but alas, no Queen’s Velvet.

Interesting … with me, openings are instinctual. A sentence comes to me and I chip chip away to find out what it means and go from there.
